Hey everyone,
March has been a whirlwind of activity for Flowa. While launching an app is a first step, making sure people actually find and use it is an entirely different challenge. That’s why I’ve been focusing heavily on App Store Optimization (ASO), experimenting with Apple Ads, and expanding Flowa’s reach to new markets—especially Latin America. It’s been a busy few weeks, but I’m excited about the progress!
Making Flowa More Discoverable – ASO & Apple Ads
Visibility is everything in the app game. No matter how great an app is, if people can’t find it, they won’t use it. That’s why I’ve been deep in ASO, refining keywords, testing new descriptions, and tweaking screenshots to improve search rankings in the App Store.
Here’s what I’ve been experimenting with:
- Keyword optimization: Finding the right balance between high-traffic and niche search terms to help Flowa show up in relevant searches.
- New visuals: Updating screenshots and app previews to better showcase Flowa’s features and make the app stand out.
- Testing new app descriptions: Seeing which messaging resonates most with potential users.
Beyond ASO, I’ve also started running Apple Ads to drive more targeted traffic to Flowa. So far, the results have been interesting, and I’m learning what works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to paid promotion.
Expanding to Latin America
One of the biggest updates in March: Flowa is now localized different countries in Latin America, also in Spain and Portugal! Given the high demand for quality cycle-tracking apps in Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking regions, I think this is a promising market to tap into.
To make this expansion work, I’ve:
- Added full localization for Spanish and Portuguese, screenshots, languages in the app, descriptions and so on.
- Studied market trends to understand how users in these regions engage with similar apps.
- Started ASO optimization tailored specifically for Latin American users.
It’s still early, but I’m already seeing a positive response from this expansion. Excited to see where this leads!
What’s Next?
The next few weeks will be just as packed as March:
✅ Further ASO refinements and ongoing Apple Ads testing. ✅ Monitoring performance in Latin America and adjusting strategies accordingly. ✅ Collecting user feedback to improve features and localization. ✅ Filming new content for YouTube (still filming and trying to make it look good) and possibly streaming some more coding sessions!
Flowa is growing, and I’m learning so much along the way. If you’ve tried the app and have feedback, I’d love to hear from you!

George
