Hi everyone 👋,
I’m excited to share that I’m working on a new app! 🎉 This project builds on the foundation of what I learned from MoodFlora, but I’m taking a more flexible approach this time—focusing on quick iterations, testing early, and making adjustments whenever something doesn’t quite fit.
Learning Through Experimentation
With MoodFlora, I learned the importance of careful planning and thoughtful design. For this new app, though, I’m shifting my approach to be more experimental. Instead of sticking rigidly to one idea, I want to build prototypes, gather feedback early, and adapt as I go. It’s about staying practical and focusing on what works.
This approach has its challenges, but it’s already helping me be more creative and open to change.
My First Steps Toward a Paid App
Another milestone for me with this project is that it will be my first paid app. It’s a big step, and one I’m approaching carefully. My goal is to create something valuable enough that users will feel confident paying for it. At the same time, I’m learning about pricing strategies and how to communicate the app’s value clearly and naturally.
Lessons from MoodFlora
MoodFlora taught me so much about user-focused design and building a product that’s genuinely helpful. For this new app, I’m carrying forward some key lessons:
- Gather Feedback Early: Instead of aiming for perfection from the start, I want to learn from user feedback and refine along the way.
- Stay Flexible: Not every idea will work out, and that’s part of the process.
- Focus on Value: I want this app to be a tool that genuinely benefits its users in their daily lives.
Looking Ahead
This approach requires patience, openness, and a willingness to embrace mistakes as part of the journey. I’m excited to see how this project evolves, and I’m looking forward to sharing updates with you as it progresses.
Thank you for your continued support and feedback—it helps me improve and move closer to creating something truly impactful.
Until next time,
George
