Privacy Policy for Axlo

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the Axlo app developed by Georgios Andi Avenidis. For privacy questions, contact info@georgevalandis.com.

2. Data stored on your device

Axlo stores app state directly on your device. This can include your axolotl companion state, interaction progress, selected settings, widget state, and other local preferences needed to provide the aquarium experience.

3. Widget data

If you use Axlo widgets, selected app state may be shared locally between the app and its widget extension through Apple's app group storage so the widget can display your companion.

4. Purpose of processing

The stored information is used only to provide the virtual pet, aquarium interactions, widgets, onboarding, and app settings.

5. Data transfer

Axlo does not require an account and does not transmit your virtual pet state or settings to George Valandis servers. No cloud sync is enabled by default.

6. Analytics and tracking

Axlo does not use third-party advertising SDKs and is not designed to track you across apps, websites, or services for advertising purposes.

7. Data deletion

Because the app stores its main data locally, removing Axlo from your device deletes the locally stored app data. Platform-managed backups may retain local data according to your Apple account settings.

8. Children

Axlo is designed as a simple, cozy companion app and does not require accounts or personal profiles. It is not designed to collect personal data from children.
