Privacy Policy for NightLock

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the NightLock app developed by Georgios Andi Avenidis. For privacy questions, contact info@georgevalandis.com.

2. Data stored on your device

NightLock stores your bedtime window, selected app-blocking preferences, chosen friction mode, language preference, local morning reports, and other app settings on your device.

3. Screen Time selection data

If you authorize Screen Time access, NightLock stores the app and category selections required to shield the apps you choose during your evening window. This data is used only for NightLock's blocking functionality.

4. Notifications

If you allow notifications, iOS may deliver local bedtime reminders and morning report notifications scheduled on your device. Notification permissions can be changed at any time in system settings.

5. Purchases and third-party services

If you purchase or restore premium access, Apple and RevenueCat may process technical purchase and entitlement data necessary to validate billing status and restore access. NightLock is not designed to use this information for advertising.

6. Data transfer

NightLock is designed as a local-first utility. Core bedtime settings, selected apps, and morning report history remain on your device unless platform-level backups are enabled by you.

7. Analytics and tracking

NightLock does not use third-party advertising SDKs and is not designed to track you across apps, websites, or services for advertising purposes.

8. Data deletion

Because the app stores its main data locally, removing NightLock from your device deletes the locally stored bedtime settings and report history. Platform-managed backups may retain local data according to your Apple account settings.
