Privacy Policy for NoteBuddy

Last Updated: 04.06.2026
1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the NoteBuddy app developed by Georgios Andi Avenidis. For privacy questions, contact info@georgevalandis.com.

2. Data stored on your device

NoteBuddy may store draft notes, sent and received note records, handwritten drawing data, buddy connection details, unread state, widget snapshots, and local app settings on your device.

3. CloudKit and buddy sharing

NoteBuddy uses Apple's iCloud/CloudKit infrastructure for buddy sharing. When you create or accept a buddy share, note content and drawing data may be stored in iCloud and shared with the invited participant through Apple's CloudKit sharing system.

NoteBuddy does not create a public feed and does not operate a developer-run public social network for your notes.

4. Widgets and notifications

If you use NoteBuddy widgets, selected latest-note state may be shared locally between the app and widget extension through Apple app group storage. If you enable notifications, notification delivery is handled through iOS notification features.

5. Analytics, ads, and tracking

The current release is not designed to use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. The app privacy manifest declares no collected data types and no tracking domains.

6. Data deletion

You can remove locally stored NoteBuddy data by deleting the app from your device. Platform-managed iCloud, CloudKit, or device backups may retain copies according to your Apple account and device settings.

7. Support contact

If you contact support, we receive the email address and information you choose to include in your message. For privacy questions, email info@georgevalandis.com.
