Hey friends 👋

Quick update on where I’m at right now.

I’ve been leaning more and more into the idea of building many small apps. Why? Because it’s the best way for me to test ideas quickly, see what sticks, and learn fast. Every new app is like another experiment. Some will work, some won’t, and that’s okay. It’s all part of the process.

On top of that, I’m trying to wrap my head around how the Apple App Store algorithm actually works. Every little tweak in keywords, screenshots, or updates is changing how potential users find my apps or not. Sometimes the results make sense, sometimes they don’t at all. But I kind of enjoy it — it’s like playing chess with Apple.

Along the way, I’m sharing my progress in a build in public style. Posting content about what I’m building, what’s working, and what I’m struggling with. It helps me stay accountable, and maybe it gives someone else a nudge to start building too.

And of course, there’s life outside of the apps. I’m juggling family life, spending time with my kids, and enjoying the moments in between. That balance is messy sometimes, but it’s also what keeps me grounded.

So right now, it’s all about:

  • Shipping many small apps and trying out ideas
  • Learning the mysterious ways of the App Store algorithm
  • Creating build in public content around the journey
  • And making sure I don’t miss the good stuff with my kids

Step by step, figuring it out as I go 🚀

Until next time,
George
