Last Updated: 19.10.2026
QuietRide is subject to Apple's Terms of Use, the Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
QuietRide is a quiet game for families on car trips. The phone's microphone measures how loud it is in the car relative to the car's own background noise, and calm rounds fill a shared star jar towards a reward you choose.
For passengers only
QuietRide is meant to be used by passengers. Set up the game, mount the phone, and choose all settings while the car is parked. The driver must not operate, watch, or react to the app while driving. Once a trip has started, the game runs on its own and never requires any input from the driver.
Not a safety device
QuietRide is a game. It is not a safety, monitoring, or child-supervision device and does not replace the attention of a responsible adult. Mount the phone securely so that it cannot obstruct the driver's view or become a loose object, and follow local traffic laws at all times.
Game results
Stars, rounds, and rewards are based on loudness estimates from your device's microphone and can be affected by road noise, music, the phone's position, and the device itself. Results are meant for fun and are not exact measurements.
Purchases
QuietRide Premium is an optional one-time in-app purchase. Billing and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat may process technical purchase and entitlement data required to validate, unlock, and restore premium access.
Availability
Some features may depend on device storage, microphone access, iOS capabilities, and app version. We may update, improve, or remove features over time.
