Hey everyone πŸ‘‹,

Big news – Flowa is officially live on the App Store! After an intense three-month development phase, countless iterations, and overcoming all kinds of hurdles, my first paid app is out in the Apple App Store. This moment feels so great in terms of building my own solo dev business, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.

The Road to Launch

Building Flowa was quite intense but rewarding journey. Unlike my previous projects, this app pushed me beyond my comfort zone. From refining the user experience (mainly my wife, lol) to making sure everything worked seamlessly, every step was a lesson in design, development, and persistence.

Getting through Apple’s approval process wasn’t easy this time. Between fine-tuning my data model, optimizing design flaws on iPhone SE, and making sure my app met all guidelines, there were moments of frustration. But every roadblock was a chance to learn.

The First Sales & Future Plans

Hope to see the first downloads roll in the near future. This is my first time launching a paid app, so every potential purchase is a huge milestone for me. It’s still early days, but I already have plenty of ideas for updates and improvements. More customization, deeper insights with AI to name a few.

Lessons Learned

Here’s what I took away from this app launch:

πŸ”Ή Move Fast, Fix Later β€“ If I had waited for everything to be β€œperfect,” Flowa would still be sitting in development. Shipping fast and improving along the way is the real game-changer.

πŸ”Ή Apple’s Guidelines Are No Joke β€“ If you’re building an app for iOS, make sure you study and follow every rule. What seems like a minor detail can delay your launch by days or even weeks.

πŸ”Ή The Indie Journey Is Wild β€“ From idea to launch in just three months, this experience has been intense but incredibly fulfilling. I love building things, and Flowa is just the beginning.

What’s Next?

Now that Flowa is live, my focus shifts to updates, gathering feedback, and of course, content creation. My first YouTube video and live stream are still on the horizon, and I’m more committed than ever to sharing my journey.

If you haven’t checked out Flowa yet, you can find it on the App Store now. I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and suggestions!

Until next time, George
