Hey everyone,

Flowa has been live for a few weeks now, and I’m already deep into the next phase: refining, fixing, and optimizing. The launch was the beginning—now it’s all about making Flowa better, fixing bugs, and making sure people actually find the app in the App Store.

Polishing Flowa: Bug Fixes & Improvements

Like with any new app, the first users uncovered some rough bugs. I’ve been rolling out updates to smooth out UI inconsistencies (thanks to my friend Hamed), improve performance (improving the data model), and ensure everything works seamlessly across all iPhone models (yes, even the iPhone SE).

A few key fixes and improvements so far:

  • UI tweaks for a more intuitive experience
  • Improved onboarding flow to reduce drop-offs
  • Fixing minor data syncing issues
  • General performance improvements

Each update brings Flowa closer to the vision I had when I first started developing it.

App Store Optimization – Making Flowa Discoverable

While fixing bugs is important, an equally big challenge is getting Flowa in front of the right users. Just launching an app isn’t enough, people need to find it. That’s where App Store Optimization (ASO) comes in.

I’ve been experimenting with:

  • Refining keywords to improve search visibility
  • Testing new app descriptions and screenshots
  • Exploring different app store categories
  • Checking analytics to see where users are coming from

It’s still early, but I’m learning a lot about how Apple’s search algorithm works and what makes an app stand out.

What’s Next?

My roadmap for the next few weeks:

  • Further ASO tweaks and testing new visuals for the App Store.
  • Adding more customization options based on user feedback.
  • Filming my first YouTube video to document this entire journey!
  • Stream my first coding session on Twitch / Youtube

Launching an app is just step one—making it successful is a whole different challenge. But I’m here for it, and I’m excited to see where Flowa goes next.

If you haven’t checked it out yet, you can find Flowa on the App Store here:

Thanks for following along on this journey! Let me know if you have any feedback or suggestions. I’d love to hear from you.

Until next time,
George
