Hey everyone 👋,

since my last update, I’ve been shifting gears—not just building apps, but also focusing on sharing the journey behind them. It’s one thing to build something. It’s another to talk about it, show it, and let people feel like they’re part of the process. That’s what I’ve been leaning into over the past few weeks: building, content, community, and connection.

Creating Content – TikTok, Reels & YouTube Shorts

Lately, I’ve been showing up on TikTok and Instagram Reels, and I’ve started publishing YouTube Shorts too. My goal? Give a real behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to build indie apps like Flowa and my newest one, Perfect Day.

It’s still early days, but here’s what I’ve learned:

  • Short-form content is powerful – A 15-second video can bring more attention than weeks of tweeting.
  • People love realness – Not polished ads, but raw, honest clips about coding, struggles, wins, and learnings.
  • Consistency > perfection – I’m not aiming for the perfect video. I’m trying to be real.

If you’re curious, you can find me across platforms, sharing everything I build to thoughts on what it means to be an indie dev today.

Expanding the Network – One DM at a Time

I’ve also been making a conscious effort to connect with more people in the indie app and creator world. It’s easy to build in a bubble—but growth happens in conversation. So I’ve been:

  • Reaching out to other indie devs and content creators.
  • Sharing what I know and learning from what they’re doing.
  • Trading ideas, building connections, and feeling less alone on this ride.

The indie scene is full of smart, creative, generous people. I’m happy to be building real friendships here and there.

Started Indie App & Content Lab 🎉

One of the biggest updates: I’ve launched a Discord community called Indie App & Content Lab!

It’s a cozy space for people who are building things and sharing them with the world—whether that’s apps, videos, blogs, or something totally different. It’s early, but it’s growing steadily, and the energy is already super supportive and inspiring.

If you’re an indie dev, a content creator, or somewhere in between, this is your invite to come hang out: brainstorm ideas, share feedback, and stay motivated together.

What’s Next?

✅ Keep posting TikToks, Shorts, and Reels
✅ Keep refining Perfect Day and improving Flowa
✅ Grow the Indie App & Content Lab into something really valuable
✅ Stay consistent, stay curious, and keep building in public

Thanks for following along and supporting the journey. This is just the beginning—more updates soon!

Until next time,
George
